Troy Bayliss helped Ducati in the development of the new Ducati 1199 Panigale and presented it to the world’s press at Abu Dhabi.

Ducati three times Superbike world champion Troy Bayliss signed an agreement with Premier Helmets to use exclusively the company’s helmets during tests, training sessions, competitions and national and international exhibitions he will take part in the next two years. Bayliss is one of the most important Ducati’s testimonial and now he’s aslo working with Premier to test and develop new racing helmets. The Aussie rider concluded a positive two day test session at Mugello circuit on September 21 and 22, using a Premier Dragon Titanium helmet. “It’s a very nice and light helmet – Troy said to our technician after the test – and I feel very comfortable with it. I'm extremely happy - Troy said - to say that I will join Premier for the next two years. From my talks with Madeo so far I already understand he is a very serious and enthusiastic person and I’ll try my best to help him and
his technicians to develop new racing helmets”.

Bayliss already started to work with Premier’s technicians to prepare a Troy Bayliss replica helmet that will be introduced during next Eicma Milano fair in November.
Troy Bayliss was born on 30 March 1969 in Taree, NSW, Australia. During his career Bayliss won the Superbike World Championship three times, as well as the British Superbike Championship and a MotoGP race, all with Ducati. He finished his career after winning the 2008 World Superbike title. His 52 World Superbike victories are second only to Carl Fogarty.
